I have learned that Five UK have axed Neighbours Omnibus shown on Five* because of a decline in its popularity
I sent an email to Five UK to say I was unhappy because at the end of the last Omnibus the voice over man said (We know how you love your Sunday morning lay in so Neighbours Omnibus is disappearing) yes we can catch up with episodes on Five or the Player but they did not add after advert time the Omnibus is nearly 40mins longer and the single episodes are about 40mins less after adverts. My email - I am a big Neighbors fan and have hardly missed an episode as I work I watch the omnibus and am disgusted that from next week they will not show it on Five* after the show the Welsh bloke came on and said we know how you like your lay ins so will not be showing the omnibus any more, or something along them lines. I know what your going to say.. watch it on the Demand Catch Up web site, but would always record the omnibus and watch it when I am back from work, My internet is fairly slow and can't watched videos very well on it. When well it back on Five/Five* again. I hope I don't get a automated email from you lot I expect more then that. I want answers please. Thank You

Unfortunately, following a decline in its popularity, we have reluctantly decided to cease transmitting this programme and are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
Episodes of Neighbours continue to be transmitted on Channel 5 at 13:45 and 17:30 and repeated on 5* at 15:00 and 19:00 on weekdays. As you know they are also made available on our online catch up service, Demand 5<http://www.channel5.com/shows/neighbours/episodes> for a period of 30 days following transmission.
Nevertheless, we are grateful to you for raising your concerns and have logged your comments in the Viewer Enquiries Report. This is circulated throughout the company and seen by all relevant personnel.
